Online Coordinator

Duties/Pligte
Under guidance of the CSLEEC Online Manager, the CSLEEC Coordinator must:
**Assist the CSLEEC Online Manager in implementing strategies to grow the CSLEEC online student development portfolio by**:

- Supporting the Online Manager when implementing strategy for the online programming portfolio (e.g. online short programmes, hybrid learning models, and other evolving formats of educational content delivery);
- Offering technical and administrative user support to course students or participants and to facilitators;
- Supporting the Online Manager to expand access to co-curricular opportunities, particularly with relation to commuter students through online platforms;
**Supporting the Online Manager to**:

- Implement new online learning opportunities that target competencies, which are not covered through the existing co-curricular competency map;
- Identify and customise new online learning opportunities in support of changing student, stakeholder and environmental needs;
- Assisting the Online Manager to implement digital techniques, resources and tools that could be used to contribute to experiential student development;
- Assisting the Online Manager in offering extended online support to the various CSLEEC portfolios in the creation of multimedia learning resources.

**Provide online student development support by collaborating with the Online Manager to**:

- Align online programming development with student leadership development needs as identified by the Student Governance portfolio (SRC, TSR, Society Affairs Council, Academic Affairs Council, Student Parliament and Election Convenors);
- Coordinate the online implementation of the Co-Curriculum Programmes within the student governance space, with the expansion to PSOs and residences.

**Assist the CSLEEC Online Manager in offerings to other higher education partners by**:

- Supporting the Online Manager in implementing new online programme offerings to extend access to new markets.

**Fulfill ad hoc duties, such as**:

- Participating in institutional, DSAf and CSLEEC projects and performing ad hoc tasks as required by the Online Manager.

Onder leiding van die SSLEOB se Aanlyn Bestuurder moet die SSLEOB Aanlyn Koördineerder:
**Bystand verleen aan die SSLEOB se Aanlyn Bestuurder om strategieë toe te pas ten einde die SSLEOB se aanlyn studente-ontwikkelingsportefeulje uit te brei deur**:

- Die Aanlyn Bestuurder te ondersteun met die toepassing van strategieë vir die aanlyn programmeringsportefeulje (bv. aanlyn kortkursusse, hibriede leermodelle en ander ontwikkelende formate wat opvoedkundige inhoud lewer);
- Tegniese en administratiewe gebruikersondersteuning aan kursusstudente of deelnemers en fasiliteerders te bied;
- Die Aanlyn Bestuurder te ondersteun deur toegang tot ko-kurrikulêre geleenthede uit te brei, veral aan pendelstudente via aanlyn platforms;
**Die Aanlyn Bestuurder te ondersteun**:

- Om nuwe aanlyn leergeleenthede toe te pas wat vaardighede teiken wat nie deur die bestaande ko-kurrikulêre vaardigheidsindeks gedek word nie;
- Om nuwe aanlyn leergeleenthede te identifiseer en pas te maak ten einde aan die veranderende behoeftes van studente, belanghebbendes en die omgewing te voldoen;
- Die Aanlyn Bestuurder te ondersteun om digitale tegnieke, hulpbronne en gereedskap wat gebruik kan word toe te pas om tot die ontwikkeling van die ervaringsleer by te dra;
- Om die Aanlyn Bestuurder by te staan om uitgebreide aanlyn ondersteuning aan die onderskeie SSLEOB-afdelings te bied in die skepping van multimedia onderrigbronne.

**Aanlyn ondersteuning aan studenteontwikkeling bied deur met die Aanlyn Bestuurder saam te werk om**:

- Die ontwikkeling van aanlyn programme met die behoeftes van studenteleierskapsontwikkeling te belyn soos deur die Studenteregering (SR, TSR, Verenigingsraad, Akademiese Belangeraad, Studenteparlement en Stembuskonvenor) aangedui;
- Die aanlyn toepassing van die ko-kurrikulum programme binne Studenteregering met die uitbreiding na PSOs en koshuise te koördineer.
**Bystand verleen aan die SSLEOB Aanlyn Bestuurder met aanbiedinge aan ander hoëronderwys vennote deur**:

- Ondersteuning te bied in die toepassing van nuwe aanlyn programme sodat toegang tot nuwe markte bewerkstellig word.

**Ad hoc-pligte nakom deur**:

- Aan Institusionele, Studentesake
- en Sentrumprojekte deel te neem en ad hoc-take uit te voer in opdrag van die Aanlyn Bestuurder.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification;
- At least two years' relevant work experience within a higher education environment;
- Knowledge of how to create digital content and online or blended courses;
- Experience in the use and support of video and audio software, basic knowledge of audio or video streaming and experience with online conference software;
- The proven ability to successfully perform multiple tasks whilst adhering to budgetary constraints;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
