Job Description

Six Sense Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This challenging position involves sourcing sales opportunities within the industrial segments of Mining, Cement, Pulp-&-Paper, Metals, Food & Beverage, and Data Centres. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, building relationships, and securing new business opportunities.

About You
  • You have a tertiary qualification in automation or electrical engineering and a proven track record of success in sales, tendering, project management, services, or project engineering.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and effectively position value propositions and solutions.
  • You are self-driven, focused on daily progress towards securing objectives, and passionate about a career in sales with an unrelenting competitive attitude.
Responsibilities
  • Sourcing sales opportunities within the specified industrial segments.
  • Building relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve targets.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in automation or electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, tendering, project management, services, or project engineering within the industrial segments mentioned above.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for sales.
