Business Development Specialist

**About the Role**
At MECS Africa, we seek a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, promoting our products, and driving sales growth through innovative market research and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet business targets.
- Promote our products and services to existing and potential clients.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Coordinate and execute marketing and networking events to drive sales growth.
- Identify and pursue new business partnerships to expand our client base.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Advanced degree (e.g., MS, MBA) is highly desirable.
- Project management and sales-related certification is advantageous.
- At least 3 years of experience in a business development or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge and reach into the required sectors.
- Proven ability to leverage opportunities in different economic climates to contribute to business continuity.
- Proven sales and new business development track record.
- Solid network within the business target market for direct client acquisition.
- Experience with scheduling methodologies and technological literacy with computer applications necessary to create, manage, and analyze project timelines.
