The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of our company. This involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and developing strategies to expand market reach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing new business relationships by identifying potential clients and opportunities;
  • Understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives;
  • Staying informed on industry trends and market developments;
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships;
  • Participating in client meetings and presentations to promote services and build rapport;
  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategies;
  • Negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements;
  • Tracking sales performance metrics and reporting on progress toward business development goals.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related field (advantageous);
  • Proven experience in a Business Development Manager role or similar capacity;
  • A strong background in the Construction/Engineering industry (highly desirable);
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships;
  • Results-oriented with a history of meeting and exceeding targets;
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
