National Sales Director

Job Summary:
Salesworx is seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Sales Manager to lead our sales function in the country and exports. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the country and exports sales strategy, driving sales objectives, and achieving commercial budgets and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the country and exports sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve commercial budgets and targets.
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve sales objectives and targets.
- Identify and acquire new customers and up-sell to the existing customer base.
- Build strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting and account planning.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with other internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating with other teams to ensure the smooth delivery of products & services to customers.
- Analyze market trends and competitors' activities and formulate strategies to respond to these in close collaboration with the marketing team.
- Have experience and good understanding of the working exports markets.
- Understand the importance and value of CRM, having the experience to analyze the data to support the sales outcomes.
- Develop and maintain solid KOL relationships with key stakeholders.
- Support the Regional Sales Managers to excel and be out the box thinkers.
- Develop KPIs and measurements to drive efficiency in the sales organization.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market insights to inform decision-making.
- Build strong sales and interdepartmental alignment within the organization.

- Be aware of the regulatory requirements nationally and in the export markets.
- Guide the sales organization to follow the SAMED marketing code of ethical marketing and sales.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Must be based in Gauteng.
Requirements:
- You have a diploma/degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have a strong track record of success with prior experience in a similar role.
- You are a hands-on leader who is a strong coach & mentor with a strong track record of building & leading high-performing sales teams.
- You possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- You possess good analytical skills and an excellent problem.
- You have advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, tables, calculations, and automation efficiently to process large quantities of data relevant to business tasks.
- You are a strong team player who can build good relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
