Transformative Regional Sales Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a charismatic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our team to new heights. As a key member of our international company, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing KPIs, and sparking innovation in the retail and distribution industry.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of our distributors to achieve sales goals.
  • Set and communicate performance standards for the region.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with distributors to review their performance and provide guidance.
  • Develop and implement training initiatives to drive retention and improve distributor business.
  • Lead the development of clear Sales KPIs and champion their achievement.
  • Drive leadership development plans to improve manager growth and count.
  • Deliver geographical mapping and penetration plans for top 100 suburbs in each distributor geography.
  • Review and analyze distributor KPIs, providing corrective actions and support in monthly strategy reviews.
  • Prioritize distributor cost and profitability management.
  • Accountable for distributor succession and changeovers.
  • Ensure monthly tracking of achievers of company trips and implement corrective action where necessary.
  • Collaborate with Events to deliver exciting Salesforce trips and events.
  • Collaborate with finance on monthly vehicle programs to maintain cost reduction.
  • Ensure optimal management of defectives and incentives at distributors.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree.
  • Charismatic and motivated personality.
  • Ability to lead and motivate the Salesforce and Distributors to drive sales performance.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a manager within a regional level in retail/distribution industry.
  • Able to travel within the African continent.
  • Display a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Display an in-depth understanding of the Direct Sales industry, customer needs, and competition.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Out of the box thinker.
  • Display data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication and ability to build relationships to interact with all stakeholders of the business.
  • Strong drive for results.
  • Ability to coach and guide salesforce members.
  • Valid drivers' license.
