About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Greenfield Account Executive to join our South African team. As a key player in our sales department, you will be responsible for promoting Amazon Web Services (AWS) to FTSE 100 companies in the region.

Your main focus will be on establishing AWS as the preferred cloud technology provider for these strategic accounts. You will work closely with senior executives, IT leaders, and other stakeholders to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions using AWS.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technology sales, particularly in working with large Enterprises. A proven track record of selling transformational projects and solutions is also essential.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience selling cloud solutions
  • Background in IT Solutions or Services
  • Experience working with Enterprise Customers in Power & Utilities, Manufacturing, Automotive, or Engineering preferred
  • Success in owning and developing new business development initiatives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive experience as a quota-carrying technology field sales individual
  • Experience working with large Enterprises
  • Proven track record selling transformational projects and solutions
  • Experience increasing technology adoption and creating long-term transformational account strategies
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects with Enterprise Customers
