We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Representative in the Agricultural Sector.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities in the agricultural sector, growing sales of corporate clothing, and actively selling marketing materials and related products. They will also be expected to implement effective sales strategies, identify and secure new business, and meet monthly and annual sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Penetrate the market to develop new business opportunities for commercial print
  • Grow sales of corporate clothing range
  • Sell marketing materials, media, and related products
  • Cross-sell and upsell products
  • Implement effective sales strategies and activities
  • Identify and secure new business
  • Meet monthly and annual sales targets
  • Prepare client presentations
  • Complete sales reports
  • Handle client liaison and administrative responsibilities
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • A matric qualification or equivalent, preferably with a post-matric qualification in sales
  • A successful track record in sales, preferably in print and labelling
  • Computer literacy in Word and Excel, and high numeracy skills
  • A self-motivated and energetic approach, with the ability to identify and secure new business
  • A strong customer service orientation and ability to develop strategic customer relationships
  • Sound interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work according to strict deadlines and maintain a professional appearance
  • Competency in independently planning and managing sales initiatives
  • A methodical and analytical approach, with attention to detail
  • A passion for selling and exceeding customer expectations
