Sales and Business Development Representative

About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the steel industry, including market trends, competition, and customer preferences. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and developing sales strategies to meet targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies to meet targets.
- Develop a thorough understanding of different types of steel and their applications.
- Have a deep understanding of the production process and quality standards.
Requirements
- A minimum Matric qualification.
- A minimum of two years' experience in the steel and aluminum industry is highly advantageous.
- Business-to-business or technical sales experience is preferred.
- Strong administrative and computer skills are essential.
- A valid driver's license is required.
Remuneration
R10 000 - R25 000 Cost to Company (dependent on experience)
Benefits include 50% Medical Aid Contribution and a Provident Fund.
