Business Development Specialist IT

We are West Coast Personnel, a leading recruitment agency specializing in placing top-tier talent within the IT technology sector.
Salary: R400,000 - R600,000 per annum
About the RoleThe Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth through the identification and development of new business opportunities within the IT sector. This role requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of the technology landscape.
Main Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT sector to drive revenue growth.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value proposition.
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and technical teams to align sales strategies and enhance service delivery.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to inform management and support decision-making.
- Education: Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Proven track record as a Sales Representative, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT products, services, and market trends.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Motivation: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Location: Candidates should be based in Durban or willing to relocate.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
