**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our customer base for flat steel products in South Africa.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, acquiring new accounts, and negotiating and closing deals with key customers in the region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing market trends and sharing valuable insights related to the steel sector with our team
  • Fostering strong relationships with existing customers and identifying new business opportunities
  • Negotiating and closing deals with key customers
  • Coordinating with our Purchase/Logistics teams to ensure timely shipments

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, preferably in the flat steel products industry
  • Extensive knowledge of importation procedures and documentation, including customs entries and bills of lading
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
