Payroll Administrator

Main responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Accurately record and process employee hours and data, ensuring timely and compliant pay slips.
- Financial Reporting: Provide weekly and/or monthly general ledger and reports to finance department.
- SARS Reconciliations: Conduct SARS reconciliations twice a year.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits, including new appointments and resignations.
- Time Management System: Input new employees and import hours into People 300 Sage.
- Payroll Related Queries: Respond to payroll-related queries and concerns.
- Compliance: Maintain employee files and ensure all necessary documents are available.
Requirements:
- Qualification and Experience: Matric with at least 3-5 years relevant experience in payroll of a production/assembly plant, preferably automotive sector.
- Certification: Payroll Certificate, preferably Sage 300.
- Computer Skills: Good command of English, self-starter with strong leaning towards accuracy and detail, sound computer skills – MS Office.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
