About the Role:

E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD seeks a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the finance and accounting functions of the business. The ideal candidate will work closely with the EU Finance Director and RSA Finance Team to provide strategic insights necessary to guide business decision-making and contribute to profitability and growth.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • General:
    • Ensure timely and high-quality reporting
    • Provide proper analysis to support the management team
    • Follow corporate and divisional procedures and controls
    • Adhere to local accounting principles, rules, and tax regulations (including BBBEE)
    • Manage banking relationships
    • Interact with various departments within the company, both locally and internationally
    • Perform ad-hoc requests as needed
    • Review and update policies and procedures
    • Manage AIS Grants
  • Specific:
    • Implement STD costing
    • Develop and report on Capex DB, Rolling Forecast, Tooling reporting, and Overdue reporting
    • Manage intercompany, sales, and contribution operations
    • Reconcile balance sheets, prepare journal entries, and generate SOX reports and certificates
    • Manage fixed assets, including screening and capex preparation
    • Oversee project management and tracking for CEA.07
    • Conduct CM walk for CAP7
    • Implement internal controls, including balance sheet reconciliations
    • Monitor sales prices and initiate payroll reviews
    • Support the development of forecasts, budgets, and MTP plans
    • Adhere to corporate and divisional procedures and controls
    • Perform month-end closing, including manual journal preparation and accounting control
    • Support other departments by providing proper analysis to support the management team
    • Manage the local finance department
    • Implement hedging, currency management, and cash forecasting
  • Daily/Monthly Tasks:
    • Review and manage cash flow
    • Review journal entries
    • Review balance sheet reconciliations
    • Process payment releases on the bank (local/foreign/payroll)
    • Review month-end general ledger and account reviews
    • Prepare month-end meeting analysis, commentary, and reporting
    • Review short-term forecasts
    • Authorize purchase orders
    • Implement internal controls, general control framework, and risk management
    • Review payroll
    • Assist with BBBEE involvement
    • Review VAT
    • Assist with capex involvement
    • Review costing and pricing changes
  • Quarterly Tasks:
    • Complete financial review questionnaires and other HO quarterly requirements
  • Annual Tasks:
    • Manage tax, including year-end calculations, transfer pricing, and country-by-country reporting
    • Review AFS
    • Coordinate, finalize, and present budgets
    • Manage insurance
  • Requirements:
    • CA (SA) qualification
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in charge of a finance department for a manufacturing company with a national/global footprint
    • Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and flexible approach to work
    • Understanding of regulatory and financial reporting regimes and IFRS
    • Proven track record of clean financial management and administration
    • Financial modeling knowledge
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence all levels of management and strong analytical and conceptual abilities
    • Well-refined technical finance and strategic skills
    • Corporate finance experience is advantageous
