We are looking for a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team at Profile Personnel.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll office administration, with a strong background in labour legislation and proficiency in MS Office and payroll processing software.

About the Role
  • Ensure accurate payment of employees, issue salary slips, create salary sheets and reports, and gather and maintain employee records.
  • Verify working hours and pay rates, track employee absence, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Handle payment issues, assist the accounting department, and collaborate with other financial personnel.
Key Responsibilities

Core Duties:

  • Salary Administration: Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, bonuses, and allowances.
  • Leave Management: Capture and manage employee leave documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and labour laws.
  • Time and Attendance: Process time and attendance reports for clients using Uniclox administration (time and attendance system).
  • Petty Cash and Credit Card Recons: Maintain accurate records of petty cash and credit card expenses.
  • Filing and Records Management: Ensure all employee files and records are accurately maintained and up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in payroll office administration.
  • Strong numerical literacy and ability to work with confidential information.
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Highly developed attention to detail and strong time management skills.
Estimated Salary Range

R12,000 - R20,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
