Sales and Revenue Growth
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Revenue Growth professional to join our team at Leeu Collection South Africa (Pty) Ltd.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the sales and revenue growth strategy to maximize occupancy and drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with 3rd Party Distributors, including Wholesale, Retail agents, and Consortia in South Africa.
- Position the business and its services in the marketplace to maximize occupancy and drive revenue growth.
- Ensure timely delivery of up-to-date service, rate, and promotional information to 3rd Party Distributors.
- Attend trade shows and events to promote and sell the hotel portfolio and its services.
- Manage the cost of distribution and ensure correct commission is awarded to 3rd party distributors.
- Organize and host site inspections.
- Assist in defining and executing the sales strategy for the future.
- Review and assess accommodation and sales budget expense.
- Ensure the Sales CRM system is kept up-to-date and accurate.
- Produce accurate and timely Sales Activity reports.
- Ensure all collateral is correct, updated, and user-friendly for trade.
- Manage Trade Marketing on consortium platforms, social media engagement strategy, and e-blasts.
- Follow all departmental and hotel health, safety, and security policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position within a 5-star luxury property.
- Hospitality experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Computer literacy is a must.
- Able to re-assess and enhance source market focus and STO structure.
- Ability to perform competitive benchmark studies, follow market trends, and provide input to sales strategies aligned with the vision of the business.
- Excellent product knowledge and upselling skills.
- Able to adhere to rate and offer information distribution deadlines.
- Able to conduct training and coaching team members on selling, up-sell, and cross-sell techniques.
- Sustainable quality and attention to detail.
- Strict confidentiality of customer information.
- Personal and professional integrity of the highest standard.
- Sales CRM system experience.
