Overview and Purpose of the Role:

OUTsurance has experienced significant growth in its business product offering, leading to the creation of a face-to-face distribution channel. As a key contributor to this model, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and growing the business insurance portfolio.

The primary objectives of this role are:

  • To achieve high levels of new business sales
  • To deliver exceptional client service and management
  • To consistently meet or exceed performance targets

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan and track progress
  • Prospect for new clients through effective networking, cold calling, and door-to-door canvassing
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Conduct thorough risk evaluations and provide tailored solutions to clients
  • Implement strategies to retain existing business and secure future income
  • Stay informed about market developments and trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, actuarial, and claims
  • Maintain adherence to quality standards and measures
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Matric or National Senior Certificate
  • FAIS credits or full insurance qualifications
  • RE5 (depending on Dofa)
  • Possession of a valid code B driver's license
  • 3 years of external sales experience

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately R400,000 - R600,000, depending on location and level of experience.
