Würth South Africa Co. (Pty) Ltd is seeking a seasoned Area Sales Manager to spearhead sales growth and drive business development in the region. As a brand ambassador, you will lead a team of sales professionals and foster strong relationships with customers to achieve sales targets and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of sales consultants to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Manage sales performance, sales growth, and customer balance growth of each team member.
  • Drive the company's multichannel strategy to ensure future prosperity.
  • Coach and develop sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Ensure all company communication is received by the sales team and implemented effectively.
  • Travel with sales consultants to support customer engagement and sales growth.
  • Complete sales reports and administration tasks to ensure accurate data and insights.
  • Conduct regular meetings with sales team members to review performance, set goals, and provide feedback.
  • Implement the company's sales strategy and ensure its effective execution.
  • Manage the growth and development of the sales team, including recruitment and selection of new team members.
  • Embody the Würth culture and values in daily activities and lead by example.
  • Ensure a cohesive inter-departmental relationship between the company and the sales team.

Requirements:

  • Matric or equivalent qualification.
  • Completed or studying towards a marketing or business degree or diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Sales Manager.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong sales orientation, goal-driven, and self-motivated.
  • High level of commitment and emotional quotient capabilities.
  • Strategic thinking skills and computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Product knowledge relevant to the Würth South Africa industry.
  • Clear disciplinary record, clear criminal record, and clear credit history.
