- Role Overview: Reporting to the Executive Head and Business Manager, this role is integral in aligning human resources strategy with organizational goals.
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives, including talent management, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, from talent acquisition to onboarding, ensuring top talent is sourced and integrated effectively.
- Oversee performance management frameworks that promote employee engagement and support talent development.
- Drive governance and compliance with HR policies and employment legislation, including chairing the Employment Equity Committee.
- Leverage HR analytics to provide insights on workforce trends and support data-driven decision-making.
- Proactively identify and address HR-related risks while fostering a culture of collaboration, fairness, and confidentiality.
- Requirements:
- Honours degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management.
- 10 years + HR generalist experience, including senior HR Business Partner roles.
- Experience managing a small team.
- Relevant experience in the education sector or a comparable environment.
- Professional registration and applied knowledge of employment legislation.
- Experience working in a non-unionised, services-based organisation.
