This role supports the Franchise Unit Leader in developing channel commercial execution plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving organized retail execution of strategy for South Africa in collaboration with the Operating Unit (OU) Channel team.
The goal is to lead the system to evolve Channel and Commercial Capabilities in South Africa Franchise to drive top line growth in traditional trade, and partner with the Customer Director to ensure Channel strategy is executed within Modern trade customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop alternative Winning at Point-of-sale solutions to enhance customer experience.
- Engage bottlers to focus on execution excellence and drive business results.
- Analyze investment opportunities to optimize ROI for commercial initiatives within the channel.
- Deliver higher ROI on investment within the channels by implementing effective strategies.
- Create coherent plans across channels to drive the right OBPPC (occasion, brand, package, price, and channel), improving system profitability and preventing channel leakages.
- Bring a high level of innovation, particularly in processes for execution solutions to stay ahead in the market.
- Leverage Technology to modernize our presence across the channels and build a competitive advantage.
- Define and implement new processes, products, and commercial solutions to address complex business needs.
- Interact with a diverse range of organizational levels, from function heads to bottlers and external consultants to drive business outcomes.
- Manage the balance of consulting and providing support to Franchise, including an appropriate level of push back where needed.
- Requires sensitivity to franchise issues and experienced interpersonal skills, as well as presentation skills, both verbally and in writing.
