Main Responsibilities:

The External Account Manager plays a crucial role in servicing and maintaining relationships within the Insurance, Fitment Centre, and Motor Dealership channels. This involves achieving sales targets by generating new business and revitalizing dormant accounts while servicing the existing client base.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of account management to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Manage all aspects of client accounts to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients to foster trust and engagement.
  • Conduct a minimum of five sales calls per day to actively engage potential and existing clients.
  • Deliver presentations and training sessions to clients, ensuring they are informed about the products and services offered.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and quotations to meet client needs and secure business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Matric; 2-5 years Sales experience with a proven track record in achieving sales targets.
  • Must have reliable vehicle and valid Driver's license.
  • Must be prepared to travel and attend after-hours functions when necessary.
  • Computer literate, with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
