About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Consultant to join our team at Saint-Gobain Africa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue by achieving personal and regional sales targets, fostering customer relationships, and maximizing market advantages in the contractor sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage trade spend and offer technical expertise on products to customers.
  • Communicate value propositions effectively and build sustainable relationships with customers.
  • Meet key performance indicators and manage debt within your area.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities by leveraging industry knowledge and supply chain insights.
  • Comply with company reporting standards and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of flooring sales experience and a strong technical background. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, outstanding judgment, and strong interpersonal and public speaking skills. Proficiency in both language and computer use is essential for effectively communicating with diverse personalities and managing digital sales tools.
