Senior Technical Sales Consultant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Sales Consultant to join our team at Saint-Gobain Africa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue by achieving personal and regional sales targets, fostering customer relationships, and maximizing market advantages in the contractor sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage trade spend and offer technical expertise on products to customers.
- Effectively communicate value propositions and build sustainable relationships with customers.
- Meet key performance indicators and manage debt within your area.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities by leveraging industry knowledge and supply chain insights.
- Comply with company reporting standards and ethical codes, maintain confidentiality, and manage product performance issues according to company guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of flooring sales experience.
- Diploma in Chemical/Civil Engineering or a similar qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Preference will be given to candidates with construction chemicals experience.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, excellent judgment, and unwavering integrity.
- Extroverted team player, proficient in both language and computer use, with exceptional interpersonal and public speaking skills.
