Job Description

Sales Consultants – B2B are responsible for driving revenue growth by selling to end customers in the base and new non-business areas using telephone, Web 2.0 technologies, and face-to-face engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop relationships with assigned customer bases to drive sales processes from demand generation to opportunity closure.
  • Market Understanding: Utilize knowledge of regions and install bases to exploit commercial opportunities. Run sales campaigns and promotions according to sales strategies.
  • Customer Strategy Development: Identify customer needs and define possible solutions to enable revenue growth.
  • Territory & Account Planning: Develop plans, prioritize internal and external resources, and execute to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • End-to-End Solutions: Position solutions to end customers, taking ownership of install bases and reflecting the true value of client business propositions.
  • Support Provision: Offer first-level support and escalate second- and third-level support to client services.
Requirements

To succeed as a Sales Consultant – B2B, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in fast-moving sales environments.
  • Advanced customer relationship skills with proven sales records.
  • Strong sales skills: account planning, cold calling, SWOT analysis, up-selling, cross-selling, forecast accuracy.
  • Objective-oriented, consistently achieving sales quotas and forecasted revenue targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, business acumen, and presentation skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with field sales, partners, technical, and operational resources to create sales strategies and execute goals.
  • Strong relationship-building, account-planning, and process competence skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
