Short Term Business Portfolio Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven OUTsurance Broker to join our team. As a Business Insurance Channel Manager, you will be responsible for growing and developing our business insurance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new clients through effective networking, cold calling, and door-to-door canvassing
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
- Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations and provide tailored solutions to clients
- Develop and implement a personal business plan to achieve sales targets
- Provide ongoing service and support to clients, including amendments, renewals, and claims
- Retain existing business and develop new business opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with commercial insurance market trends and developments
- Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate
- FAIS credits or full insurance qualifications (depending on DOFA)
- RE5 qualification (depending on DOFA)
- A valid code B driver's license
- At least 3 years of external sales experience (if not from the insurance industry)

Additional Information:
In accordance with OUTsurance's Employment Equity goals, preference will be given to individuals from designated groups who meet the requirements for the role.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Manager and work closely with the wider Face to Face channel.
