We are seeking a skilled Business Growth Specialist to join our team at TechnoServe. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in business development and management to contribute to the success of our organization.
About the RoleThe Business Growth Specialist will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and expansion. This will involve working closely with senior programme managers, business owners, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and develop plans to capitalize on them.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in business management, finance, or a related field, with experience in enterprise development, entrepreneurship training, and small business management. They will be able to demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information and negotiate effectively.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement business growth strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives
- Work closely with senior programme managers and business owners to identify opportunities for growth and develop plans to capitalize on them
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform business growth decisions
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners, donors, and government officials
- Provide training and coaching to business owners on best practices in business management and growth
- Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, economics, or a related field; master's degree preferred
- At least 7 years of experience in business development, management, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information and negotiate effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct market research and analysis
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners, donors, and government officials
