About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Old Mutual as a Senior Administration Specialist: Pricing, where you will play a critical role in supporting the Pricing team in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen and analyze new business tender requests to ensure they meet our company's standards and requirements.
  • Compile and analyze claims experience for larger arrangements to inform pricing decisions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Respond to and resolve enquiries from various stakeholders and clients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interpret client requests and deliver accordingly, providing a hassle-free service that meets their needs.
  • Provide quality service to clients and intermediaries by attending to requests on time, presenting information in a professional manner, and being flexible where appropriate.
  • Conform to Service Level Agreements with relevant stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver quality service to clients and intermediaries by being proactive in preventing potential problems and providing solutions.

Requirements

  • Matric (with Mathematics) as a minimum qualification.
  • Insurance industry experience, preferably in a group risk environment.
  • Working knowledge of pricing and rating principles in a group risk environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience working within and pricing in a Group Assurance/Risk environment is compulsory.
  • Proven numerical ability/mathematical reasoning skills.
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office programs, such as Word and Excel.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize effectively, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-centric approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external colleagues and clients to achieve organizational and team goals.
