Position Overview

The Senior Pricing Administration Specialist plays a crucial role in the effective management of pricing strategies and administrative support within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess new business tender applications.
  • Compile and analyze claims data for significant arrangements.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve inquiries from various stakeholders and clients.
  • Interpret client requests and deliver appropriate responses.
  • Ensure a seamless service experience for clients by responding promptly to requests, presenting information professionally, and proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements with relevant stakeholders.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients and intermediaries, demonstrating a commitment to service excellence.

Documentation Management:

  • Provide indirect support to customers and intermediaries.
  • Respond to immediate administrative needs in accordance with established procedures.
  • Follow standardized processes to provide administrative assistance aligned with regular business operations.
  • Meet daily production targets.
  • Utilize standard administrative techniques to manage personal workload effectively.

Personal Effectiveness:

  • Take accountability for service delivery through individual efforts.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic.
  • Independently manage time, tasks, and output quality for periods ranging from one day to three months.

Qualifications:

  • Matriculation with Mathematics
  • Experience in the insurance sector
  • Familiarity with pricing and rating principles in a group risk context
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in pricing within a Group Assurance/Risk environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated numerical proficiency and mathematical reasoning skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues to achieve organizational and team objectives.
