**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Pricing Analyst to join our team at Boardroom Appointments. As a key member of our pricing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing and Product Development: Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to ensure accurate and efficient pricing of our retail, funeral, and credit life business.
  • Experience Analysis: Analyze recent client experience to inform pricing decisions and ensure that our pricing approach is aligned with market trends.
  • Long-Term Cash Flow Modelling: Develop and maintain long-term cash flow models to support pricing decisions and ensure that our business is well-positioned for future growth.
  • Collaboration and Project Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business development, underwriting, and claims, to deliver high-quality proposals that meet our clients' needs.
  • Documentation and Communication: Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of pricing assumptions and results, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless approval processes.

Requirements:

  • Qualified or nearly qualified actuary with at least 5 years of actuarial work experience.
  • Experience with retail insurance pricing or product development.
  • Expertise in experience analysis and long-term cash flow modelling.
  • Advanced Excel and Word, Visual Basic, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Coding skills in VBA, R, Python, or SQL would be advantageous.
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills.
