Job Title: Growth Manager

As a Growth Manager at FirstRand Bank Limited, you will be responsible for driving the regional strategy and growth activities of the Channel. Your primary objective will be to build sustainable key relationships across all channels, product houses, and segments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic business projects with a deep understanding of business targets and how to influence them to achieve set business targets.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities to drive balanced growth within the Commercial Segment.
  • Engineer and leverage processes and technologies to meet business needs.
  • Produce consistently high-quality outputs within agreed deadlines.
  • Develop a strategy for market share and balanced growth.
  • Execute sales campaigns across FNB channels to drive sales.
  • Compile monthly tracking of delivery against pre-aligned targets.
  • Manage various partnerships effectively and establish rapport with stakeholders.
  • Manage own development by assessing own performance and requesting training, customer service monitoring, and improvements.
  • Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions.
  • Maintain and foster ethical dealings with customers and clients.
  • Track, control, and influence sales activities to achieve previously determined sales targets.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Cash Investments products to deliver comprehensive training for sales personnel in various channels.
  • Contribute to the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of sales competitions or campaigns aimed at increasing sales.
  • Coordinate and manage the product sales pipelines of the different channels and make adjustments accordingly based on internal and market changes.
  • Provide input into the schedule for product sales pipeline.
  • Support the Growth Managers in the execution of Segment strategies.
  • Take full responsibility and ownership of Profit & Loss (PnL) management.
  • Develop the Growth strategy for the sub-segment.
  • Define the success criteria by channel.
  • Ownership of driving initiatives.
  • Income statement and Balance sheet understanding.
  • People Management responsibility, including goal setting, development plan alignment, and career path management of direct reports.
  • Manage internal Cash Investments stakeholders, including Channel, Enablement, Product, LRC, Marketing, CVM, Client Experience, and Operations.
  • Assume the role of single point of contact for Cash Investments within the Segment.
Requirements:
  • 2 to 3 years of related experience.
  • Relevant commercial degree in B (Comm, Information Management, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Financial Management, Engineering, Informatics).
  • Strong stakeholder management ability essential.
  • Proficiency in presenting to Executives at Exco, Manco, Regional sessions, and other governance forums.
  • Previous exposure in working with commercial/corporate clients will be a huge plus.
