Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development (Capital) Engineer to identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging technical knowledge to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and support the Business Development Manager in various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Identifying New Business Opportunities:
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify potential business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to build trust and credibility.
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest industry developments.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Manage the sales pipeline and track progress to ensure timely and effective sales.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners to provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments to align business development activities with company goals and objectives.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure effective project management.
- Manage project risks and issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Academic: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Experience: Three or more years in aftersales, customer services, or sales in an OEM engineering and fabrication environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and industry trends.
- Proficiency in sales and marketing strategies, including lead generation and deal closing.
- Market research and analysis skills to identify and pursue business opportunities.
- Project management experience to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Understanding of industry regulations, market trends, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
- Business acumen in finance, marketing, and sales to drive business growth and success.
- Analytical skills to identify and pursue business opportunities and drive business growth.
- Business Opportunities: Number of new clients, products, and services introduced annually.
- Sales and Marketing: Sales growth, sales cycle time, and lead conversion rates.
- Relationship Building: Client retention, satisfaction, and partnership longevity.
- Project Management: On-time and within-budget project delivery, resource allocation, and achievement of project objectives.
