About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Officer to join our team in Midrand. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, maintaining employee records, and providing HR advice and support to management and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process, including attracting top talent, assessing applications, interviewing applicants, and making recommendations to management on staff appointments.
  • Maintain and manage employee records, including wages, leave, and training.
  • Provide HR advice and support to management and employees on personnel policies and procedures, including equal opportunity and anti-discrimination.
  • Advise management and employees on work issues, career development, and organize Employee Assistance Programs.
  • Guide management and staff on the optimal application of the performance management process and systems.
  • Manage internal and external disciplinary and rehabilitation processes.

Requirements

  • HR related qualification.
  • Minimum 3-5 years proven work experience as an HR Administrator or HR Officer.
  • Good understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Sound understanding of regulation and compliance administration (BCEA, LRA & SDA).
  • Written communication skills for correspondence, reports, and HR content.
  • Results-focused and deadline-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Above average Excel skills and a strong understanding and interest in data analysis.
