Job Summary

The HR Officer at Lumax Energy will be responsible for managing various aspects of human resources, including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR analytics. This role will play a crucial part in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, ensuring legal compliance, and utilizing data analytics to drive informed HR decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including reviewing job descriptions and advertising vacancies.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary information, resources, and training to integrate into the company.
  • Implement ideas and suggestions to enhance employee relations, design and execute programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes, provide guidance on performance improvement, and identify growth opportunities and succession planning opportunities.
  • Manage salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits administration, ensuring the company's compensation packages remain competitive and in line with industry standards.
  • Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain employee records, manage HR databases, and handle administrative tasks such as preparing employment contracts and HR reports.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and create a safe working environment for employees.
Requirements
  • Matric with a HR tertiary qualification.
  • At least 3 – 5 years' experience in HR.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong leadership characteristics.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Driver's licence, computer skills, punctual, accurate and organised.
  • Knowledge of HR legal compliance regulations.
