Essential Qualifications:
- HR-related qualification.
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years of proven experience in HR Administration or as an HR Officer.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and industry best practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory compliance and administration (BCEA, LRA & SDA).
- Experience with WSP, EE, BBBEE, and payroll submissions.
- Proficient written communication skills for reports, correspondence, and HR documentation.
- Results-driven and oriented towards meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing events, team-building activities, community initiatives, and year-end celebrations.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Able to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Above-average Excel skills and a keen interest in data analysis are advantageous.
- Leadership qualities to assist the region in the absence of a HR manager.
- Comfortable interacting with all levels of staff, including senior management.
- Commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process by attracting top talent, which includes assessing applications, conducting interviews, administering selection tests, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management regarding staff appointments.
- Personnel Administration: Maintain and manage employee records related to wages, leave, and training, while preparing relevant management reports.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with the Training and Development team to assess organizational and individual training needs for effective skills development.
- Organizational Development: Utilize management information systems to record, maintain, plan, and manage the organization’s human resources.
- HR Advisory: Provide guidance to management and employees on personnel policies and procedures, including equal opportunity and anti-discrimination policies.
- Performance Management: Assist management and staff in effectively applying the performance management process and systems.
- Industrial Relations: Manage internal and external disciplinary and rehabilitation processes.
