**About the Role**

Telebest is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Broker Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales and distribution team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with our broker partners.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide exceptional service to our broker partners, identifying opportunities to secure new business and grow our existing relationships.
  • Process cases, respond to queries, and investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build, maintain, and manage new and existing broker or external partner relationships, ensuring strong communication and collaboration.
  • Collect and analyze data using our POL360 systems to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver daily performance reports on incoming contacts and sales, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest financial service industry and market knowledge, ensuring our team is well-informed and equipped to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our company's policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory codes, to ensure compliance and risk management.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the integrity and security of our business operations.

**Requirements**

  • Matric or SAQA-accredited equivalent qualification is essential.
  • BCom or similar qualification would be advantageous.
  • 3 to 4+ years' experience in sales and distribution in long-term insurance is essential.
  • Experience in marketing or sales in banking, financial, insurance, or business services is highly desirable.
