Job Title: IT Operations Event Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Event Management Specialist to join our team at Liyema Consulting. As an IT Operations Event Management Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the migration/transformation of existing IT Event Management (ITIL) to ServiceNow ITOM, continuously enhancing the new ServiceNow ITOM solution, and providing 2nd and 3rd level support for the ServiceNow ITOM solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the migration/transformation of existing IT Event Management (ITIL) to ServiceNow ITOM
  • Continuously enhance the new ServiceNow ITOM solution by deeper integration into ServiceNow Config and Service Management
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for the ServiceNow ITOM solution, specifically in Event Management and the Workflow Engine for the Monitoring Ordering Portal
  • Gather requirements related to new monitoring functions from IT departments
  • Develop enhancements defined in user stories in collaboration with providers
  • Provide support to ITOM customers regarding the use of IT Operations Management environments
  • Responsible for all required documentation, including Operations manuals, security, test concepts, etc.
  • Conduct testing and create/update documentation, such as user guides and guidelines
  • Submit, update, and maintain knowledge articles related to key topics within the scope of services supported
  • Support IT governance and audit requirements to maintain compliance and operational integrity
  • Interact with clients, including IT service consumers, suppliers, and users, to maintain service quality and manage relationships
Requirements:
  • Fluent English-speaking, including business reading and writing
  • Information technology qualification (Degree, Diploma, Certificate)
  • ServiceNow certifications (ITOM)
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT Operations Management
