Sales Director Position

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the Electricity Meter Industry.

Job Overview:

The successful Sales Director will oversee the organisation's Electrical sales team to ensure they meet sales targets. They will be responsible for leading and motivating their team to improve overall customer service skills with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve business targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Expand the customer base and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales records and reports to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise sales staff and provide guidance and training to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Communicate with clients for quality control and market research to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Organize marketing events and maintain company visibility to increase brand awareness.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in the Electricity Meter Industry.
  • At least 10 years experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales and marketing director.
  • Proven sales executive experience in meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Successful completion of projects for Municipalities and Metropolitans.
  • Previous work experience with Conlog, Landis+Gyr, or Contec.

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
