About this Role

The Sales Head for LexisNexis SADC will be accountable for driving revenue growth and delivering budget forecasts for the Africa division. This role will involve developing and implementing overall sales strategies in line with EXCO-agreed plans. The incumbent will ensure the sustainability of revenue growth for our product offerings across LexisNexis SADC permitted African territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement revenue contingency plans to address unforeseen variances in forecasts and ensure target delivery.
  • Generate and sustain a new business pipeline for all LexisNexis product offerings in assigned territories.
  • Implement the annual strategic plan as agreed with the Executive Team in South Africa.
  • Monitor and pursue opportunities in new markets, reporting progress daily on our CRM system.
  • Compile and deliver quotes, proposals, and tender documents.
  • Stay abreast of international and local comparative trends and product developments.
  • Develop marketing campaigns to increase awareness of our products/services in the local SADC market and African markets.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor visitation programs to source new customers and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Law, Marketing, or Business Management.
  • Have experience in selling technology solutions in the legal sector.
  • Have experience in selling governance, risk, and compliance software solutions in the corporate sector.
  • Be able to fully incorporate LexisNexis values into every aspect of work.
  • Have good judgment and integrative thinking, be a strategic thinker, and results-focused.
  • Be political savvy, patient, flexible, and creative.
  • Have excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • Be able to travel into other African countries.
