Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Unified Telecommunications Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of converged networks, audio visual activities, maintenance and support covering PABX, analogue, IP voice, Microsoft Teams, Teams calling and all related duties to support the requirements and strategy of PetroSA's IS Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform the maintenance and support of the organisation's Converged Network and audio-visual infrastructure including analogue, digital, PABX systems, video conferencing technology, network topology configuration databases.
  • Coordinate and perform the development and implementation of Converged Networks designs and design policies, strategies, architectures and technical documentation, covering PABX, analogue, IP voice and satellite communications.
  • Monitor Converged Network and audio-visual systems usage, system traffic and performance and quality of service provided by the system and its constituent hardware, software, transmission services, and support functions.
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced Diploma (NQF Lev7) / Bachelor's degree Information Systems or Equivalent.
  • NEC Certification, Network, Microsoft Teams Telephony and CCNP will be an added advantage.

Minimum Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years' experience in Unified Telecommunications environment and related IS Projects.
