Channel Manager - Fibre Network Operator (FNO)
Location: Remote, Western Cape, Gauteng
Full-time, Permanent
**Job Summary**:
As a Channel Manager for our Fibre Network Operator (FNO), you will be responsible for managing and developing the sales channels for our fibre network services. You will be working with various stakeholders, such as distributors, resellers, and other partners, to create and implement effective sales strategies that will increase revenue and expand the company's customer base. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that channel sales goals are met, and that our partners receive the necessary support to drive their business forward.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Train channel partners and their staff on our products and services, including fibre network services, pricing, and customer service best practices.
- Oversee account profiles of our channel partners, ensuring that they meet the required standards, and that all contractual obligations are met.
- Monitor competitor activity to identify potential threats and opportunities for our company in the marketplace.
- Foster communication with resellers, distributors and other strategic partners, building and maintaining strong relationships to drive sales and business growth.
- Develop and implement channel sales plans and initiatives to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide partners with the necessary training, marketing materials, and support to promote and sell our products and services.
- Ensure partners are compliant with contractual and operational requirements, and that any issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
- Manage partner performance and provide regular performance reporting to management.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings to maintain relationships and identify new opportunities.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Channel Manager or a similar role in the telecommunications industry.
- Experience developing and implementing successful channel sales strategies in the telecommunications industry.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Splynx and Agility or other CRM software is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Must have own car, cellphone and laptop with a reliable internet connection (preferably fibre).
