We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at TrudyQ Consulting. Key Responsibilities:- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Verify and capture supplier bills, maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage debtor accounts by invoicing, applying payments, and conducting follow-ups for outstanding accounts.
- Prepare and process weekly and monthly payments for approval and assist in loading payments for authorization.
- Banking & Reconciliation:
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank transactions and update financial records.
- General Ledger & Reporting:
- Support month-end closing processes by assisting with the preparation of journals and adjustments.
- Prepare and update the debtors' age analysis, providing reports to senior management.
- Maintain and organize supporting documents for audit purposes and assist with audit-related tasks.
- Customer Communication & Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries and account queries via phone and email.
- Send out monthly customer statements and assist with maintaining customer accounts.
- Coordinate with the sales and service departments to address account-related issues.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist with VAT and tax return preparations.
- Process Improvement & Team Support:
- Work closely with the Accounts Manager to streamline accounts processes and improve efficiency.
- Support ad hoc finance tasks as directed by the Accounts Manager or Financial Manager.
- Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage, is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
