Job Description

As a Portfolio & Impairments Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Monitoring and analyzing loan behavior trends post-funding, identifying risks in arrears, defaults, and recoveries.
  2. Developing risk segmentation models using ML techniques to predict loan performance.
  3. Conducting delinquency analysis and assessing macroeconomic impacts on portfolio performance.
  4. Collaborating with credit risk teams to enhance underwriting strategies using predictive insights.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Postgraduate Degree in Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or Data Science
  • 3+ years' experience in data analytics, marketing analytics, or data science
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, and PostGresSQL for data analysis and modeling
  • Expertise in credit risk, impairment forecasting, and expected credit loss modeling
  • Data visualization skills using Tableau, Redash, or Looker
