Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage payroll and HR functions for the company, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective HR strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Provide expert advice on payroll and HR matters, including tax legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including calculations, deductions, and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and benefits information.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies and industry partners.
Requirements:
  • Relevant post-matric qualification and at least 4/5 years of experience in payroll and HR.
  • Fully computer literate, with high-level Excel experience and MS Word/systems orientation.
  • Working knowledge of tax legislation and in-depth knowledge of statutory requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Motor Industry Bargaining Council rules and regulations.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle (an advantage).
