About the Role:

This role is focused on driving revenue growth and expanding market share within the insurance industry. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for devising and implementing creative business development strategies to achieve these objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth Initiatives: Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and identify new opportunities.
  • Critical Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, brokers, and partners to uncover new business prospects and nurture long-term partnerships.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends and market shifts to identify areas for potential growth and innovation.
  • Collaborative Execution: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.

Our client is a leading player in the insurance sector, recognized for their innovative approach and commitment to excellence. They are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join their team and contribute to their continued success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development within the insurance industry.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in short-term insurance, with at least 5 years in commercial sales and service capacity in a broking environment.
  • Matric certification.
  • Level 4 FETC Short-term Insurance Qualification.
  • Passed FAIS Regulatory Exam.
  • Higher Certificate in Insurance.
  • Post-matric qualification (BComm Risk/Accounting, BBA) is an advantage.
