Position Overview

We are in search of a Vice President of Business Development & Innovation to spearhead our efforts in the Media and Experiential Sales Division, known as 'Westfield Rise.' This division is at the forefront of redefining how brands engage with consumers through Digital Out-Of-Home (DOOH) media, experiential events, and long-term partnerships at URW's renowned locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vertical Sales Strategies: Formulate and implement industry-specific strategies to illustrate how brands can collaborate with Westfield Rise for enhanced impact and engagement.
  • Sponsorship Development: Create innovative sponsorship opportunities tailored for various sectors, ensuring integration into Westfield locations enhances the consumer experience.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize comprehensive data and insights to support vertical strategies and narratives.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to understand market needs and feedback, aiding in the development of compelling vertical narratives.
  • Project Management: Oversee the timeline and execution of vertical narrative rollouts and product development initiatives.
  • Innovation Leadership: Continuously seek new capabilities and innovations to maximize market opportunities, collaborating with various teams to transition ideas from concept to execution.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand trends and competitive landscapes, focusing on media, experiential, and sponsorship innovations.

Qualifications

  • Innovative Mindset: Proven track record of challenging conventional approaches and executing groundbreaking strategies.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of client and consumer needs, aligning opportunities to create indispensable solutions.
  • Analytical Problem Solver: Strong ability to navigate complex challenges using analytical skills and institutional knowledge.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Marketing, Media, and Partnerships.
  • Expertise in developing go-to-market strategies and supporting sales initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in driving innovation and revenue growth through business development.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in analytical tools.
  • A four-year college degree is required.

Compensation Package

This position is classified as exempt, with a competitive salary range of $200,000 – $250,000, plus a discretionary annual bonus.
