Sales and Business Development Specialist

Catch Recruit is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development globally. Your primary focus will be on sourcing and signing new clients within various industries, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Responsibilities:
• Prospecting new leads and potential clients using our internal processes
• Communicating with prospective clients and arranging sales calls
• Maintaining client data and generating quotes through our Client Relationship Management Platform
• Running calls and meetings together with the Branch Manager
• Negotiating client agreements and costing
• Signing and interacting with clients
• Implementing procedures to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency
Requirements:
• Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Excellent use of the English language, both written and verbal
• Ability to maintain effective communication with team members at all times
• Ability to adapt within the ever-changing shipping environment
• Ability to coordinate large high-value deals and keep track of and successfully manage all elements on each high-value project
• Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Proactive problem-solving
• General business acumen
Qualifications and Experience:
• University Undergraduate Degree of any background, commerce-focus preferable
• Honours Degree advantageous
• Strong academic track record
