Business Development Specialist

Job Summary:
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that can drive revenue growth for Dimension Data. They will create and implement strategies to promote the organization's products or services to potential clients, partners, or other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
- Build relationships with potential clients and partners through networking, outreach, and marketing efforts.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new business initiatives.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.
- Track and report on sales and business development activities.
Requirements:
- National diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, and communications.
- 4+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in a hunter sales role, with a focus on generating new business.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High standards for professionalism and presentation.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with industry tools and programs.
