Senior Business Development Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Specialist to join our team at Capital Recruit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management within a technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement proactive engagement strategies to foster client relationships and drive business growth.
- Identify sales growth opportunities across segments and industries, and create business development plans to pursue new clients.
- Network and attend relevant forums/events to generate client sales, and stay updated on industry trends and technical developments.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Westech, promoting client growth and revenue streams, and maintain accurate client records.
- Determine sales strategies and goals for products and services, and develop strategic marketing plans with internal teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum Matric qualification with a strong background in sales and account management within a technology environment.
- Sales/IT or office administration qualification would be an advantage.
- 3-5 years experience in technology sales and customer relationship management.

- IT hardware & software knowledge.
- Computer literacy & proficiency.
- Influencing and networking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management.
- Problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Business writing/report writing.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Systems knowledge and administration.
Salary: R25,000 - R30,000 plus commission per annum.
