About the Job

The Recruitment Council is seeking a skilled Franchise Development Manager to enhance and grow our franchise presence. This role involves developing sustainable relationships with stakeholders and ensuring consistent growth through compliance evaluation and operational optimization.


Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Growth Enablement: Establishing and supporting new franchises and financial advisers, driving business development within franchises, identifying revenue growth opportunities, initiating and managing projects related to new business opportunities, offering financial planning guidance and best practice advice, and managing software implementation, standardization, and optimization of operations.
  • Relationship Management: Fostering strong connections between the Head Office and franchises, building and maintaining relationships with franchisees and financial advisers, supporting growth targets, overseeing and monitoring financial advisers' activities, collaborating with stakeholders to understand and prioritize business needs, contributing to a positive organizational culture by facilitating feedback and delivering excellent client service, and engaging with product providers to establish sustainable partnerships.
  • Governance and Licence Management: Conducting compliance training and audits in partnership with advice and licence specialists, ensuring adherence to risk management and compliance processes, investigating and reporting on instances of non-compliance, identifying and addressing compliance or advice-related risks, providing feedback on findings, and ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of financial planning and practice management, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also have a client-first mindset, integrity, fairness, objectivity, competence, confidentiality, diligence, transparency, and professionalism.


Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
