Agricultural Business Development Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Business Development Manager to join our team at FirstRand Bank Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting and growing the bank's market share within the agricultural market segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate credit risk through quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Monitor existing exposures and recommend credit decisions related to excesses
- Assist in NTB takeovers from other banks due to the strategy and support that the role plays as team player with the Relationship Manager
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
Requirements
- Relevant commercial or Agric specific Qualification (e.g. B-Com, BSC Agric, B-Agric or similar with Agric Economics as a pre-requisite)
- FAIS compliant
- Experienced Relationship Manager / Client Portfolio Executive with a proven track record of managing an Agric portfolio (preferred)
- Citrus/ avo/ mango/ macadamia experience
- Understanding/knowledge of Agric business and credit application process in commercial banking
