The Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Coach to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic business development mentoring and coaching to emerging entrepreneurs in rural and peri-urban areas.
About the Job
This is a fixed-term contract position that will last for 14 months. As a Business Development Coach, you will work closely with emerging entrepreneurs to enhance their business skills and knowledge, with the ultimate goal of promoting sustainable economic growth in rural communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the BESD EE Course effectively.
- Coordinate and monitor training provision.
- Manage EDP performance.
- Site management and administration.
- Monitor and evaluate training and coaching outcomes.
- Facilitate networks and linkages.
Requirements
- Matric (NQF Level 4) and National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Business Management/Commerce/Economics.
- Services Seta, New Venture Creation Certification – Level 4 will be an added advantage.
- Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7) in Business Management/Commerce/Economics will be an added advantage.
- South African Citizen or Permanent Residency Holder.
- BESD experience and knowledge an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous work experience in business.
- Previous work experience in coaching and mentoring.
- Good understanding and knowledge of the small enterprise development sector.
- Understanding of the BESD coaching methodology.
Working Conditions
This position requires a valid South African Identity Book or Permanent Residency Certificate.
